"Original" means exactly that, an actual 400+ year old Original 1611 Bible Leaf from an Original 1611 King James Bible!
Each 1611 King James Bible Leaf, comes from a large folio edition, about 15" x 10".. FIRST EDITION "She" variant, the editor's first correction of the 1611 "He" variant. Both variants are 59-line folios with interchangeable leaves, being nearly identical to each other, and differing only in some spellings and woodcuts. The "She" variant was likely published between 1611-1613. This variant, known affectionately as the "Queen" of 1611 leaves, is the same "edition" as the "He" variant, though some scholars like to separate them.
The Leaves offered here are from the Old Testament, in good condition overall, without tears. Leaves are intact and fully readable, but with a light to mild stain at one corner of the leaf. Leaves come in either an Archival Sleeve with Certificate of Authenticity (should you like to have it framed), or in an Archival Booklet should you like to keep it as is. The dark blue Archival Booklet contains a full-sized Certificate of Authenticity, with both leaf and COA protected in separate archival sleeves. All Leaves are "random" and pre-selected.
Random Leaves
It is not possible to choose a specific bible verse or book at this time. But these "Random" (from the Old Testament) leaves are unconditionally guaranteed and are archivally safe. Your specific Original 1611 Old Testament Leaf will be chosen at random by the Publisher, and is guaranteed to be in GOOD condition overall. The Biblical text is wholly intact with respectable margins, but with a mild stain to one corner. Each leaf is well packaged, and comes with a premium signed Certificate of Authenticity (COA), half-sized for the Archival Sleeve and full-sized for the Archival Booklet.

Archival Booklets
These Large 1611 Archival Booklets were designed and created by Historic Bibles, LLC. of the finest archival materials. Each dark blue Archival Booklet uses heavy card-stock covers (acid-free and carbon neutral) with crystal clear archival sleeves as recommended by the Library of Congress for maximum conservation. These proprietary Booklets are in Bi-fold style, to open like a book, with the leaf on one side and the full-sized Certificate of Authenticity (COA) on the other side. With reasonable care, the leaf is easily reversible. On the front cover is the gold foil logo of Historic Bibles & Engravings.
