LFBC is proud to present this first-class, academically sound, easy-to-use 1st Grade program, written and published by fundamental Baptists through the ministry of a fundamental Baptist church. Much prayer, diligent effort, experience, and sacrifice have gone into the production of this program, and it is our prayer that it will be a blessing to many, serving as a firm foundation for a lifelong pursuit of learning.
The main academic areas in the 1st Grade are Bible, English, Literature, Math, and Science. Each subject packet contains all the information needed for the student and teacher. Material is self-paced.

B105 Bible Grade 1 - Old Testament Characters:
Familiar Bible stories and favorite characters are used in the study of the Old Testament. Each week includes vocabulary, a Bible story, reinforcement activities, and a Bible verse appropriate to the text for memorization.
E105 English Grade 1:
This English and Spelling course is filled with attractive and fun illustrations. It incorporates a well-balanced assortment of language arts and English-writing skills with consistent follow-up and review from week to week. Capitalization, kinds of sentences, correct punctuation at the end of sentences, recognition of simple nouns, verbs, adjectives, and prepositions, contractions, antonyms, homonyms, and alphabetizing of words are all covered throughout the course of the year. A completely phonics-based spelling is used.
L105 Literature Grade 1:
Review of vowels, consonants, blends, one-and two-vowel words; recognition and use of all phonics special sounds are included in this beginning Literature course. McGuffey’s First Eclectic Reader is used for reading comprehension and oral reading.
M105 Math Grade 1:
Number recognition, counting, and writing 1 - 250; counting by twos, threes, fives, and tens; addition facts through 13; subtraction facts through ten; before/after numbers; adding and subtracting two-digit numbers; recognizing and counting money; telling time to the nearest quarter hour; fractions: one quarter, one half, and one third; and story problems.
S105 Science Grade 1 - God's Wonderful Creations:
This starting point course stimulates the student’s interest in science through a study of animals and insects. There are many bright graphics, exciting activities, and thorough reviews.
All Landmark Freedom Baptist Curriculum (LFBC) uses only KJV Scripture.
