LFBC is proud to present this first-class, academically sound, easy-to-use 3rd Grade program, written and published by fundamental Baptists through the ministry of a fundamental Baptist church. Much prayer, diligent effort, experience, and sacrifice have gone into the production of this program, and it is our prayer that it will be a blessing to many, serving as a firm foundation for a lifelong pursuit of learning.
The main academic areas in the 3rd Grade are Bible, English, History, Literature, Math, and Science. Each subject packet contains all the information needed for the student and teacher. Material is self-paced.

B115 Bible Grade 3 - New Testament Characters:
Familiar Bible stories and favorite characters are used in the study of the New Testament. Each week begins with vocabulary, and includes a Bible story, reinforcement activities, and a Bible verse appropriate to the text for memorization.
E115 English Grade 3:
Students will develop their ability to think and express their thoughts correctly. Kinds of sentences, punctuation and capitalization rules, recognition of nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and prepositions, contractions, antonyms, homonyms, alphabetizing of words, dictionary skills, and writing compositions are all covered throughout the course of the year. Spelling 3 contains 36 weeks of spelling lists with activities.
H115 History Grade 3 - Great American Heroes:
This text gives the students the right kind of heroes and valuable models of good character to follow, beginning with Christopher Columbus and continuing through the days of the great evangelist, Billy Sunday. Each week begins with vocabulary, and contains Bible memorization appropriate to the subject discussed in the text.
L115 Literature Grade 3:
Vocabulary words and definitions; comprehension activities are all found in this course. McGuffey’s Third Eclectic Reader is used for reading comprehension and oral reading.
M115 Math Grade 3:
Students will review and build on concepts learned in second grade. Place value of numbers; three-digit addition with carrying, three-digit subtraction with borrowing; two-digit and three-digit multiplication; two-digit divisors with checking; multiplication and division tables to 12; telling time; addition and subtraction of fractions; averaging numbers; measurement problems; bar graphs and pictographs, recognizing geometric shapes; and story problems are all part of this year’s work.
S115 Science Grade 3 - Creation Day-by-Day:
This course presents the universe as the direct creation of God. The text presents the six days of creation and gives basic information about the items created on each day. The text and activities present a basic but stimulating coverage of many different areas of science, introducing each as the creation day warrants. Students will also work through several fun and interesting projects.
All Landmark Freedom Baptist Curriculum (LFBC) uses only KJV Scripture.
