Description

Author: Rick Streight

Walk into any bookstore, and you will find a wide variety of Bible translations to choose from. Does it make a difference which version you read? Are they all the same? The truth is very important!

In Defense of the King James Bible presents a clear scriptural line of reasoning for the unadulterated Word of God, which God said He would preserve and which is unique to the King James Bible. To prove the originality and uniqueness of this particular translation of Scripture, the author devotes a large section of the study to the comparison of verses from the King James Version Bible to other translations. It is startling to discover the omission of complete verses and phrases, which waters down Scripture and changes the meaning of verses and doctrine.

Journey with the author as he examines the Bible to gain a deeper understanding of God's Word and the importance of maintaining the integrity of Jesus Christ who is the Word of God.

About the Author:
After two years of research, Rick Streight realized why so many Christian churches believe so differently—the wide variety of Bible translations lead to different doctrines. With that in mind, he wrote this book. His desire is to tell people about Jesus and to encourage others to keep the faith and be strong Christians. Rick is from Aberdeen, Maryland, where he lives with his wife, Theresa. The couple have two adult children—Adam and Lysa—and five grandchildren—Mickey (Adam Jr.), Juliana, Keira, Crystal, and Alison—whom they love to spend time with. The young people in their neighborhood and church call Rick "Rockman" because of his interest in rocks and minerals.
